On the 1st day of May Quinty gave birth to 6 healthy puppies. 4 males and 2 females. We are very sad to report that we lost Quinty while she was giving birth to her puppies. We were grieving over the loss of our beautiful girl, and thinking how we were going to raise these 6 babies without their mom. Thankfully, our good friends Ronald and Nancy from the Rottweiler Kennel "Dutch Nevada's" very generously offered to help. Their female Rottweiler, Dune, lost her puppies that very same day during a c-section. Ronald came and picked up Quintys puppies and offered them to Dune. She accepted Quintys puppies as her own immediately.
Life and Death so close together, we grieve for the loss of our Quinty but we celebrate the life of her puppies and we are very thankful for Dune, who accepted them as if they were her own.
We want to thank those of you who have contacted us, it was very touching to know what great support we had and we are so thankful for you best wishes for us. We want to extend our sincere thanks to Ronald and Nancy (and Dune) from the Dutch Nevada's who came to our aide without hesitation.
We also would like to thank Amanda for the video of Quinty, we think it shows how special Quinty was.
We will update as much as possible over the next few weeks. This is something we will never forget...sadness and happiness all so close together.
